Amanda shared her heartwarming tale of how a simple family recipe for an all-butter pie crust turned into a nationwide sensation. After learning the art of pie making from her mother-in-law, what started as a hobby quickly turned into a booming business when her husband jokingly demanded she either stop baking or start selling her irresistible pies. Choosing the latter, Amanda launched Southern Baked Pie Company in 2012 with just $400 and a dream to share the joy of fresh-baked pie with the world.
Today, nearly a decade later, our company operates four retail locations across North Georgia and Metro Atlanta and delivers thousands of gourmet sweet and savory pies across the country every day. Our pies have not only captured the hearts of pie lovers but have also been recognized by major media outlets like Oprah’s Favorite Things, The Today Show, Southern Living Magazine, and Food Network. Additionally, we've been named one of the best pie shops in America by Thrillist and Mashed.
