Hot Bacon & Cheddar Dip with Bourbon Spicy-Maple Syrup
Last month, Southern Baked joined the Pappy & Co. team in Louisville to celebrate the collaboration of our Father's Day collection with delicious food & even better company! We even got the chance to create recipes inspired by our Southern-heritage, including upgrading my favorite appetizer dish, Hot Bacon & Cheddar Dip! We used Pappy's Bourbon Barrel-Aged Spicy Maple Syrup to give this dish an extra kick of flavor, sweetness, and heat! This recipe is perfect for munching on throughout the day as you catch-up with friends or while you watch your favorite game!
I hope you enjoy this special recipe as much as we did!

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cook up all your bacon, half way to crispy, take out and drizzle the Bourbon Spicy-Maple Syrup directly onto the bacon strips; continue cooking.
Beat the cream cheese in a bowl until smooth & fluffy. Add in the mayonnaise, cheese, chives, and 1/2 of the bacon; mix well. Spoon the mixture into a baking dish & sprinkle with the remaining bacon and crushed crackers.
Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until brown and bubbly. Take out and drizzle more of the syrup onto the top of this Serve warm with crostini crackers.
